Our Story

Our coffee journey started in 2018 with a simple idea: to connect people through an amazing product. Coffee brings people together and transcends borders - every day and everywhere! The journey took us from Germany through Cape Verde, Spain and finally to Portugal. This journey was incredibly valuable, giving us hands on experience across the entire supply chain - from cultivation and roasting to preparation - but most importantly it offered insight into the lives of the people behind the bean. 

Our goal is to make every interaction meaningful. We strive to innovate while respecting people and the planet in everything we do.

We roast coffee out of passion and with deep respect for both the bean and the farmer behind it. Our focus is on high quality and responsible sourcing. We approach roasting with care, aiming to enhance - not overshadow - the unique character of each bean and its origin.

The name BECOFFEE is inspired by Bruce Lee’s famous words, “Be water, my friend.” Water adapts, flows and takes the shape of its surroundings - just like coffee. From origin to cup, it is shaped by countless variables and each step matters. Like water, coffee is both, gentle and powerful. Our approach follows the same philosophy: to stay flexible, attentive and respectful of the process, allowing the coffee to express its true character rather than forcing it into a predefined shape.
